The Appleton Street project includes work on Appleton Street from Thayer Street to Beth Circle, on Cold Storage from Appleton Street to the railroad, and Thayer Street from Milwaukee Street to the railroad. The public bid opening for the project was held on January 22nd at 11:00 am. Six bids were received with the low bidder being PTS Contractors for a total base bid of $1,449,439.90. The total estimated cost of the project with engineering and construction management services is approximately $1,630,000.
