SEC. 2-7-4 EMERGENCY POWERS; PARKING RESTRICTIONS DURING SNOW EMERGENCY.
(b) Whenever the powers conferred in this article are exercised because of a heavy snowstorm or blizzard, the parking of vehicles on all streets and alleys is completely prohibited during the period of a snow emergency until plowing of both sides of the street has been completed, and the emergency has been terminated.
SEC. 10-1-50 WINTER ALL-NIGHT PARKING.
From December 1st to March 15th, inclusive of each year, no person shall permit any vehicle to be parked on any street or alley in the City of Plymouth between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. This Section does not apply to licensed physicians or surgeons engaged in the treatment of patients on any emergency basis.
SEC. 10-1-51 PARKING OF VEHICLES OVER 12,000 POUNDS OR 16 FEET RESTRICTED.
(a) Street Parking. No person owning or having control of any truck, trailer, truck power unit, tractor, bus or recreation vehicle with a tare or empty weight in excess of twelve thousand (12,000) pounds gross weight, or over sixteen (16) feet in length (including accessories, racks, or other physical extensions), or having a height of more than eight (8) feet from the roadway, shall park the same upon any street, avenue, or public way in the City of Plymouth between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. The provisions of this Subsection shall not be deemed to prohibit the lawful parking of such equipment upon any street, avenue or public way in the City for the actual loading or unloading of goods, ware or merchandise, provided the “loading” and “unloading,” as used in this Section, shall be limited to the actual time consumed in such operation.
SEC. 10-1-56 CITY PARKING LOTS AND RAMPS.
(b) Restrictions for Parking Ramp. The following restrictions are hereby adopted for the parking ramp located south of Block 4, Quit Qui Oc and shall apply to both the ramp and beneath it on all public parking areas: 10 – 20
No parking, stopping, or standing – 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Two (2) hour parking – 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday and to 10:00 p.m. on Friday.
No trucks, as defined in Section 10-1-51(a), shall be allowed at any time on the surface of the ramp, except only utility and maintenance vehicles.
(c) All Night Parking. From December 1st to March 15th, inclusive of each year, no person shall park or permit to be parked any vehicle upon any parking lot or portion thereof as below listed between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., inclusive.
SEC. 10-1-60 INOPERABLE, WRECKED OR DISCARDED VEHICLES.
(a) Storage Prohibited. No person owning or having custody of any partially dismantled, non-operable, wrecked, junked or discarded motor vehicle shall allow such vehicle to remain on any public street or highway, parking lot or ramp longer than twenty-four (24) hours after notification thereof by the Police Department. Notification shall be accomplished by placing in a conspicuous place on the vehicle and by mailing or serving upon the owner or occupant in charge of the premises a written notice setting forth briefly the applicable provisions of this Section and the date of the notice. Any vehicle so tagged which is not removed within twenty-four (24) hours after notice is declared to be a public nuisance and may be removed as provided in Section 10-1-39.
