Wastewater Operator

Plymouth Utilities, which serves over 8,000 electric customers and approximately 3,600 water and sewage customers, seeks a qualified person for the position of a full-time wastewater operator.  Under the direction of the wastewater superintendent, the primary responsibilities are performing various semi-skilled and skilled tasks in the operation and maintenance of the city’s wastewater treatment facilities.  Applicant should have experience in performing such work and associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in wastewater treatment/environmental science or one to three years of related experience and/or training required.  Possess a valid Wisconsin commercial driver license (CDL) Class B with endorsement N preferred at hire, but required within one-year of employment.  Starting wage rate is $30.07 up to $32.06 depending on qualifications, plus excellent benefits.    You will be required to live within 15 miles from the nearest corporate boundary of the city within 12 months of hire.
