Water Operator or Water Operator In Training - Plymouth Utilities is seeking a qualified person for the position of a Water Operator or Water Operator In Training.  Under the direction of the Water Foreman, the primary responsibilities are performing a variety of skilled, technical, and maintenance work in the planning, construction, operation, repair, maintenance, and reconstruction of municipal sewage collection and water utility systems.  This position performs work for the municipal lift stations, sanitary sewage collection system, reservoirs, well houses, and water distribution system.  Applicant should have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.  Possession of a Wisconsin Grade 1 Waterworks Operator’s certificate in the categories of Groundwater (G), Distribution (D), along with one (1) year of satisfactory experience in the operation of these subclass(es) is preferred. Possess a valid Wisconsin commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class B, including airbrakes, upon hire or ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire.  You will be required to live within 15 miles from the nearest corporate boundary of the City within 12 months of hire.  Pay range is $28.42 - $30.97 per hour depending on certifications.
