Lifeguard Certification Classes

If you are interested in becoming a lifeguard at the Plymouth Aquatic Center (PAC) this summer check out the class list below and sign up to become certified.  We cannot guarantee there are still spots available as class sizes are limited.  

If you become employed with the PAC in 2022, the PAC will reimburse a portion of the cost for the certification.  Requirements to become a lifeguard: Age 15 & Older. Participants need to be able to swim 300 yards using all basic swim strokes, surface dive to 9 ½ feet, tread water for two minutes and swim underwater for fifteen yards. CPR for the Professional and First Aid Certification are included in these courses.  

CERTIFICATION CLASSES 

1. Kohler Sports Core  - May 5, 6 & 7

A pre-swim test needs to be scheduled with Fred Brown. Participants must attend all
classes!  Maximum of 10 students.
May 5 & 6:  5pm-9pm 
May 7:  8am-4pm 
Cost: Member $175.00 / Participant $225.00

2. Sheboygan YMCA - May 13, 14 & 15

A pre-swim test needs to be scheduled with Fred Brown at fredrick.brown@kohler.com. Participants must attend all classes!  Maximum of 10 students.

May 15:  10am - 3pm
