Sealed bids, for the City of Plymouth “2024 Street Program" Contract, will be received by the City Clerk, City Hall, 128 Smith St. - P.O. Box 107, Plymouth, WI 53073, until March 6, 2024, at 11:00 am, local time. Bids are required to be submitted electronically through www.QuestCDN.com. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the above time at the office of the City Clerk.
The work includes the furnishing of all materials and equipment and performance of the following work, per the Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents (PS & CD).
The project is located on Forest Avenue between Milwaukee Street and North Street. A brief description of the major work items for the above contract includes:
2,500 cubic yards of common excavation, 3,400 tons of crushed aggregate base course, 1,520 linear feet of PVC watermain, 665 linear feet of 1-inch water service, 1,337 linear feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer, 6 sanitary sewer structures, 65 linear feet of storm sewer, 3 storm sewer structures, 3,000 linear feet of curb and gutter, 1,050 tons of HMA pavement.

All Bids shall be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, payable to the City of Plymouth, in the amount equal to five percent of the bid. Prospective bidders must be on the plan holder's list through QuestCDN for bids to be accepted. Prospective bidders must be prequalified to submit a bid, see Instructions to Bidders. Bidders may not withdraw their bid within the 90-day period after the date of the bid opening.

You may download the digital plan documents for a non-refundable fee by inputting Quest project #8972837 on the website’s Project Search page. If you elect to submit an online bid, an additional non-refundable fee will be required. You must be a plan holder to submit an online bid. As a part of their Bids, Bidders shall submit a full and complete list of: 1) all of the proposed Subcontractors, and 2) the class of work which each will perform. The selected Contractor shall not alter this list without the written consent of the City.
Bidding Documents will be available on Friday, February 16th, 2024.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive or not waive any informality in the bids received and to accept any proposal, which they deem most favorable to the interests of the Owner.
