From the Chief's Desk

Welcome to the City of Plymouth. Whether you are a visitor, new to our city, or have lived here your whole life, as the Fire Chief of Plymouth and on behalf of the 32 men and women of Plymouth Fire and Rescue, I welcome you.

The City and Town of Plymouth is proudly and professionally protected by 32 volunteer firefighters and emergency medical technicians along with 1 full time fire chief. We are committed to providing the highest quality and highest level of courteous and responsive services to the citizens Plymouth. Plymouth Fire and Rescue protects an area of 36 square miles and approximately 13,000 people.

Members of the department attend weekly training and also attend conferences, trainings, and seminars to further their education and better their skills.  We have worked tirelessly to provide you with the most cost effective, trained and equipped staff possible. I am very proud of our volunteer firefighters who continue to show their dedication on many occasions when the call for service has been answered. Plymouth Fire and Rescue provides fire suppression, vehicle extrication, ice rescue, fire prevention and education, emergency medical services (EMS), along with dive support for the Sheboygan County dive team.
