Room Tax Tourism Commission

The Duties of the Commission include, but are not limited to: Distribute all room tax proceeds received from the City in accordance with Wis. Stat. § 66.0615 and prepare an annual budget based on a calendar year for a tourism promotion and tourism development program, and report any known delinquencies or inaccurate reporting regarding room tax to the City.

The Commission is comprised of five members, two residents of the City who hold an elected municipal office, a representative of City staff, a representative of the Wisconsin Hotel and Motel industry, and a member of the Plymouth business community.  Members are appointed by the Mayor, subject to Common Council approval.
